Many homeowners worry about how the construction process will affect their homes and their lives. To ease your mind, we've assembled a step-by-step outline to help you know what to expect. View the steps below.
Excavation for a vinyl pool requires an experienced backhoe operator. A working trench for the footer and plumbing is dug outside the pool.
The second step includes assembly of the polymer wall panels , braces and acrylic steps.
After the walls are set, a concrete footer will be poured around the base of the walls and braces. Then plumbing will be placed around the pool and stubbed out for completion at a later date.
The next step is to backfill the pool and close in the working trench. Now the prep work for the concrete deck can begin.
Now the steel reinforced concrete deck is poured. We also use a styrofoam form to make a cantilever poured edge.
Next, we prepare the pool for the liner with a concrete hard bottom. The concrete bottom is a very rich mixture of Portland cement and masonry sand. The bottom is approximately 4 inches thick.
Finally, the liner is placed in the pool and water begins to fill it up. It usually takes about 2 days to fill using a garden hose. ENJOY!
